Buying and your subscription
Cancelling your subscription
Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. How to cancel from the billing page, and what happens afterwards.
Cyberact is a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each billing period: every month or every 12 months, whichever you chose. You can cancel any time from the billing page, and there is no cancellation fee. Your access continues to the end of the paid period.
If your 12-month subscription is still in its free trial and you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged and your access ends when the trial ends. A started billing period is not refunded, except where the law requires it. See The 14-day free trial.
How to cancel
- Sign in to Cyberact at app.cyberact.io.
- Open Profile and, under Access, follow Manage billing and subscription. You can also go straight to app.cyberact.io/_gate/billing.
- Cancel the subscription on the billing page and confirm.
Step by step, also for a free trial: Cancel your trial and manage your subscription.
A company's subscription is cancelled by the organisation's main admin. An individual cancels their own. Whoever bought a subscription can always cancel it on the billing page too, signed in with the email address they ordered with, even if they are not the main admin. On the same page you can also change the payment card, download invoices, change the billing period, and take back a cancellation before the period ends. See Renewal and billing period.
If you can't sign in
If you can't sign in to Cyberact, you can manage the subscription through Stripe, our payment provider: open Stripe's customer portal sign-in page and enter the email address you used for the purchase. Stripe sends you a sign-in link, and you can cancel the subscription there. If that does not work either, write to support@cyberact.io from the same address, and we will cancel it for you.
What happens after you cancel
Until the end of the paid period, everything works as before. Your people can sign in, and the manager console is available. The profile shows the date your access ends.
Once the period has ended, nothing more is charged, and the paid plans' features are locked.
A company's data is kept for 12 months after its access ends, so that there is evidence for a full audit year. If you subscribe again in that time, you pick up where you left off. The main admin gets a reminder email 30 days before the data is deleted, and then it is deleted. Backups keep it for up to 14 more days.
A personal account moves to the free plan and keeps your progress. It is only deleted if nobody has signed in to it for 24 months, and you get a warning email 30 days before.
Once your access has ended, the Organisation data section on the Users and access page lets you export all of the organisation's data as one JSON file with Export the organisation's data. The privacy notice sets out the retention periods in full.
Keeping the evidence of training
The main admin can download the training log at any time. The manager console's Compliance page has Training log (CSV) and Evidence pack (CSV).
If you want the organisation's data deleted before the retention period is up, write to support@cyberact.io with your organisation's name.
